Police have been given extra time to question three men from Birmingham on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences.
The three were part of a group of six - five men and one woman all in their 20s - held at Dover by detectives from the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit.
West Midlands police had until this morning to charge or release them, or apply for a warrant of further detention.
They have now been given until next Friday (April 17) to charge or release the suspects.
A woman held at the time has been released without charge and the two remaining men have been handed over to Home Office Immigration Enforcement officers for further investigation.
