Firefighters attended a skip fire at the Cruise Terminal in Dover’s Western Docks on Tuesday.

One appliance from Dover was called to the incident at 7.18am.

The fire was in a food waste skip.

A spokesman said: “It took a bit of digging out. They were there until about 10 o’clock.”

A crew from Deal was also called but wasn’t needed.
