THIEVES who took three containers from a doorstep in Dover could have had a nasty surprise if they tried to tamper with the contents.
The three canisters were taken from outside an address in Charlton Avenue, Dover, overnight on Thursday, September 9. They contained bull semen, but also liquid nitrogen to store it.
Police say whoever stole it would have received severe deep burns to their hands.
The canisters belonged to an agricultural specialist who advises farmers on breeding cattle.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact PC Alison Norris on Dover (01304) 240055.
Alternatively, they could call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. The call is free, callers do not have to leave their name and could be eligible for a cash reward.
