Singers Le’arna Ashleigh and Annie Riley will be realising a dream when they perform at the childhood home of forces favourite Anne Shelton this weekend.

Le’arne, from Dover, and Annie, who lives at Charing, perform at swing concerts as the Swingtime Sweethearts.

They have been invited by Anne’s family to perform at the Dulwich home where she grew up for a charity fund-raising event.

They are huge Anne Shelton fans.

“I have just finished reading Anne’s biography, which was a wonderful insight into an amazing 60-year career,” said Le’arna.

“Annie and I are thrilled to have been asked to perform in the very garden where Anne spent so many happy years.”
