A youth has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed.
The 15-year-old boy was attacked in Dover between 8pm and 8.30am on Tuesday.
Police today confirmed they have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the incident and that he remains in custody as enquiries continue.
Officers and paramedics were called to the assault and the victim was taken to a London hospital.
Police later said the injuries were consistent with a stabbing and the victim’s condition was described as stable and not serious.
Further details of the incident have since emerged.
Police had originally been called to Dover High Street where the victim was found.
But it has now emerged that he had been assaulted in an alleyway between Eaton Road and Vale View Road, several minutes’s walk away.
Police are now trying to piece together the full sequence of events.
