A man wanted on recall to prison has been arrested.
Jordan Lamoon, of Bindon Blood Road in Whitfield, near Dover, was previously jailed for punching his mum and ex-girlfriend.
The 24-year-old was sentenced in September after pleading guilty to common assault and four counts of assault by beating.
Lamoon was jailed for 12 weeks to run concurrently with another 12-week sentence he was given for breaching a court order.
So in total, he was jailed for 24 weeks but as he had already spent half of that time in custody since July, he was set to be released within days.
Yesterday, police released an appeal to find Lamoon, who was wanted on recall to prison, a post under which he commented: “Kent Police see you Monday 😘”.
A spokesman has since confirmed Lamoon was arrested by officers on the Deal seafront late last night (January 3) and they are no longer seeking information to locate him.
