The cast of hit reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) filmed part of their annual Christmas special episode in Dover and Calais.
The Only Way is Essexmas was televised last Wednesday on ITVBe and included shots from the Port of Dover and the reality stars’ journey to Calais via a MyFerryLink vessel.
It opened with a still shot of the White Cliffs.
It was rumoured that the cast stayed in the Premier Inn hotel in Marine Parade the night before filming took place at the port.
The episode was a festive add-on following the end of series 13 on November 16.
The show saw the Essex group take part in wine and cheese tasting, a typical French stereotype, and hang out in a country-styled manor house.
Previous TOWIE series have been broadcast on ITV2.
Gemma Collins, who had a brief stint in the ‘I’m a Celebrity...’ jungle made a surprise entrance on the ferry, surprising all of her co-stars.
She had left the Austrailian jungle after just three days and it was assumed by her friends that she would not be accompanying them to the French coast.
The episode is available to watch on ITV Player.
