A film extra from Dover has paid tribute to the actress Natasha Richardson.
Karol Steele met the star while working on the film Wild Child at Cobham Hall country house in Kent in 2007.
She said: “I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of Natasha Richardson.
“I worked with her in 2007 on Wild Child, which became one of the summer hits of 2008. I found her to be friendly, approachable and fun-loving.
“During the times in between takes on the set she would sit in the crew tent enjoying a cup of coffee and a boxed meal exactly the same as the rest of us.
“I loved chatting to her, Shirley Henderson, Selina Cadell and Aidan Quinn on those warm days in August, and felt just as important a part of the film.
“She was also happy to pose for photographs and sign autographs for the teenagers on set, who knew her for her work on the remake of The Parent Trap."
The actress died in hospital on Wednesday, March 18, following a fall during a skiing lesson at a Canadian resort.
