Three people in 'immediate danger' were rescued by crews from Dover RNLI.
The trio - two teenagers and an adult - got cut off by the rising tide west of Shakespeare Cliff over the weekend.
Volunteers from the lifeboat station, along with the team from the Coastguard, were tasked with bringing them to safety.
No injuries were reported.
The RNLI described the rescue as a 'tricky' one, and praised everyone involved.
They also issued a warning over the 'incredibly dangerous' shoreline, which can cut people off very quickly.
A spokesman for the RNLI said: "Another busy weekend for the Dover RNLI Lifeboat Station crew.
"The Dover Severn Class ALB was called out at 2.51pm on Saturday to reports of three people cut off by the tide and in immediate danger of a rising tide west of Shakespeare cliff.
"The crew were rapidly on scene and the Y-Boat was launched to bring two 13 year olds and one adult to the safety of the lifeboat where they were checked over by our casualty care team.
"The multi-agency shout involved a specialist HM Coastguard Rescue Team (CRT) and all casualties were returned to Dover harbour safe and sound.
"The local shoreline can be incredibly dangerous if caught out by a rising tide - if you have any doubts please get in touch with us or check out the local tide times before venturing out.
"A tricky rescue and well done to all those involved!"
