DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses to an incident in which a 29-year-old man was stabbed during a fight with two other men.
The assault took place on Tuesday just before 12.30pm in London Road, Dover, at the junction with Beaconsfield Road.
The victim, who lives in the Doverarea, has been treated for a stab wound to his chest area at Kings College Hospital in London and is said to be in a "stable condition".
It is believed the offenders may be known to the victim and police are making enquiries to find them.
The offenders are both described as white men with a tanned complexion aged 20 to 25, 5ft 8in to 5ft 9in tall, of medium build. They had very short dark hair.
One of the men is believed to be of Albanian origin and was wearing a cream/beige coloured long sleeved shirt with brown flecks and light blue jeans.
The other was wearing a short sleeved bright blue T shirt and dark trousers.
Det Insp Steve Bridges said: “We are making a number of enquiries in Dover and would appeal for any help from the public to help us trace these men.”
“I believe the victim knew his attacker and would like to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident.”
