Village shows off its assets

Residents of Temple Ewell are showing off their village this Friday with a special event.

EXPO Temple Ewell 2008 is designed to give local businesses and organisations the chance to promote themselves, and will take place in the village hall from 7 to 9pm.

As well as the local nursery, barber’s shop, stores, pubs and other businesses, the churches and Crabble Corn Mill will be taking part, and there will be a free entry into a competition to win a Mini car for those who attend.

It’s being organised by the Temple Ewell Newsletter Committee.

“There will be special offers, demonstrations, free tastings and a chance to meet some of the people who live and work in the village,” said committee vice-chairman Jeanette Potts.

“If it is a success, we hope to organise a similar event next year.”
