A video has emerged showing a pedestrian's incredible near-death escape during a car crash in Dover.
A 17 year-old boy from Dover has been arrested in connection with the three-vehicle crash which occurred on the A256 London Road yesterday.
Lucky escape: the crash missed the man by millimetres. (Video: UKNIP)
The video shows a man walking along the pavement.
Suddenly, a nearby parked van is shunted towards him by the crash.
The van hits the pedestrian, named locally as boxer Zak McCabe, pinning him against the glass wall of a shop.
However, Mr McCabe miraculously escapes unharmed.
The crash happened at about 4.30pm and two other black cars were badly damaged.
The two cars can be seen in the background of the first clip.
As debris settle on the road following the crash, Mr McCabe can be seen walking into the shop looking shocked.
The incident saw the road closed from the junction of Beaconsfield Road.
Traffic was diverted on to the parallel Buckland Terrace while recovery work was carried out, before the road reopened at around 7.30pm.
