Bad weather is causing ferry delays at the Port of Dover and traffic is building along the A20.
Ferries are reporting delays of up to 120 minutes this morning (Wednesday) due to high winds disrupting travel times.
This is causing the A20 to become gridlocked with freight lorries and motorists are backing up as far as Limekiln Street.
Townwall Street was completely gridlocked from around 8.20am yesterday causing a backlog of traffic out of the town.
Residents are warned to avoid the area.
Ferry operators have been updating passengers via Twitter.
This morning KCC Highways tweeted: "The Port of Dover is experiencing high volumes of freight traffic, please expect delays on the A20 and A2 approaches to the port."
