A woman in her 20s was assaulted outside Morrisons in Dover earlier today.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened just after midday at the Bridge Street supermarket.

They say a man entered the store, stole a bottle of wine, and then became aggressive to staff.

A spokesman said: "As he left the area, he assaulted a woman in her 20s outside the store before leaving the scene. Inquiries are ongoing."
