A woman has been charged with stealing a five-figure sum from Dover Athletic Football Club.

Michelle Parker is accused of taking the cash from The Crabble in Dover.

The 44-year-old, from Napwood Close, Gillingham, was arrested after the alleged theft was reported on October 1.

She has now been charged with theft by employee and bailed to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on March 7.
