A 38-year-old woman who died after plunging from a viaduct has been identified by Kent Police.

She was Heidi Smith, a hairdresser, who lived at Meadowbrook Road, Kingsnorth, near Ashford.

Her body was discovered below the Jubilee Way viaduct at the Eastern docks at Dover on January 13. Miss Smith was originally from Singapore and was also known as Freyann Lee.

An inquest has been opened at Ashford. It was adjourned for further inquiries to take place.
