A woman accused of stealing a five-figure sum from Dover Athletic Football Club has pleaded guilty.

Michelle Parker, of Gatekeeper Chase, Rainham, appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The 44-year-old admitted theft by an employee after she stole £15,089.85 from The Crabble in Dover, between October 31, 2014 and October 1, 2015.

She was arrested on suspicion of theft after it was reported to police on October 1.

Parker has been bailed and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court for sentencing.
