POLICE are trying to identify the body of a middle-aged woman found floating in Dover Harbour.

The Dover lifeboat City of London II was launched at 10am on Sunday to recover the body which was found near the Prince of Wales Pier.

Enquiries are being made with the ferry companies to establish whether any passengers have been reported missing from any of their ships.
