DOVER Harbour Board police have confirmed that the body of a woman was recovered from the harbour this morning (John Humphreys reports).

It was shortly after 11am that the crew of a yacht spotted the body floating in the harbour.

It was recovered by the harbour patrol launch straight away and the case has now been handed over to Kent police's coroner's office at Dover.
