Kevin Lokko has been named as the new Dover captain for the upcoming season.
The defender takes on the armband following the departure of Mitch Brundle, who has signed for fellow National League side Dagenham & Redbridge.
Lokko proved a key player in steering Whites to safety last season and contributed six goals and three assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
Such was his influence at Crabble that Lokko was recognised by his teammates as Players' Player of the Season at the club's presentation in April.
Speaking at the time, Lokko said: "I love this group. It’s probably the most enjoyable season I’ve had personally. That’s because of the boys here and everybody involved with the club, they’ve all been brilliant."
Lokko signed for Dover from Stevenage on a permanent basis in June 2018 having made 12 appearances while on loan from the League Two club in 2017/18.
He has since cemented a spot at the heart of Dover's defence as well as becoming a firm fan favourite, notably finishing runner-up to Brundle in the Supporters' Player of the Season award.
