Dover's promotion hopes put to the test

THE visit of Chippenham Town to Crabble on Saturday could provide the sternest test yet of Dover's Dr Martens Premier League championship credentials.
Fifth-placed Whites’ hard-earned 1-0 win at high-flying Worcester City on Saturday has re-ignited talk of them winning the title.
Chippenham, last beaten in the league on September 16, have been coming up on the rails themselves on the back of a 14-game unbeaten run and just two league defeats all season.
The two sides could hardly be closer in the table, with Whites one place and two points behind the Wiltshire side but holding a game in hand.
Dover boss Clive Walker has almost a full squad to choose from with captain Andy Arnott set to return after recovering from the knee injury that he suffered in an accident at his home.
Walker says Matt Carruther’s debilitating viral illness is now behind him and was not glandular fever, as once suspected, but a series of colds.
