Two goals from Stefan Payne helped Dover Athletic edge past Faversham Town in their Kent Senior Cup first round tie at Crabble.

Payne opened the scoring on 10 minutes but Dean Grant equalised 13 minutes from time.

However, Payne won and then scored a penalty late on to clinch a 2-1 win for Whites.
