Star striker Ricky Miller is back at Dover - four years after leaving for the Football League.
Miller was a huge hit at Crabble after joining from Luton in the summer of 2015.
He enjoyed a phenomenal 2016/17 campaign, scoring 42 goals for Chris Kinnear's side before signing a three-year deal at Peterborough.
Posh had attempted to buy Miller in the January transfer window but chairman Jim Parmenter turned down their advances in the hope his goals would fire Whites to the Football League.
Dover ended up missing out on the play-offs, and Miller walked away for free at the end of his contract.
The 32-year-old returns in very different circumstances, with survival rather than promotion the only thing on anyone's minds.
Whites will start the new National League campaign on -12 points after last season's struggles with Covid but they're up for the challenge, with Parmenter saying they would be "fighting like hell".
If Miller - who finished last season at Aldershot - can hit anywhere near the heights of his first spell at Crabble, there will be genuine reason for optimism.
