Dover suffered their fourth defeat of the season after losing 2-1 at home to Eastleigh.
Whites have picked up just four points from their opening six matches of the National League campaign.
Ben Williamson and Paul McCallum gave Eastleigh a two goal lead in the first half.
Dover captain Mitch Brundle scored a spectacular volley to get his side to 2-1 but they could not find the equaliser.
Williamson put the visitors ahead after finishing a lovely passing move by Eastleigh. Cavaghn Miley got to the byline and pulled back his cross to Williamson who slotted home in the 19th minute.
Mitch Walker made a fine save to keep the scoreline at 1-0 in the 23rd minute when he pushed Williamson’s well placed shot, that was heading for the top corner, wide.
Inih Effiong was causing problems for the Eastleigh defence without testing goalkeeper Graham Stack. The best of those chances in the first half came in the 34th minute when he powered his way into the box and hit his shot into the side netting.
Two minutes late and the visitors had doubled their lead when another ball into the box was not dealt with by the Dover defence.
Josh Hare cross for Paul McCallum who rose above Tim Schmoll to head home.
Dover had their first clear chances of the match seven minutes after half-time. Josh Passley had a shot from the edge of the box well saved by Stack and 30 seconds later Jamie Allen turned a cross onto the post.
Mitch Brundle scored a superb volley to halve the deficit for Dover in the 64th minute. The captain flicked it up with his knee and hit it first time into the top corner.
Whites were on top for much of the second half but found chances hard to come by. Passley was causing problems down the right flank and weaved his way into the box in the 81st minute but had his shot blocked.
Jack Connors saw his goalbound shot blocked on the line by Joey Jones five minutes from time.
