Nicky Southall insists Dover's management team are feeling everyone's pain as they continue to search for an elusive first win of the season.
Whites visit Yeovil this Saturday in their latest National League match, the Glovers having won 2-1 at Bromley on Tuesday.
Yeovil are 13th in the National League, unbeaten in six matches in all competitions, while basement boys Dover lost 3-2 to fellow part-time club Wealdstone in midweek and are now 22 points from safety.
Another defeat for Whites on Saturday would mean they have lost seven on the spin and 10 consecutive league matches since their goalless draw with Solihull Moors on September 21.
Ahead of the meeting at Huish Park, assistant manager Southall said: "They have an experienced squad.
"They got a good result against Bromley on Tuesday and then we have the big-money hitters in Wrexham in the next home game (on December 4). It ain’t getting any easier!
"It’s tough. We know it’s tough.
"We feel the pain of everyone - you guys (the media), the players, the fans, down to the kitmen and the other people behind the scenes.
"We are desperate to get this result."
Whites beat Yeovil in November 2019 in a televised game, as defender Scott Doe scored the only goal.
Southall is hoping their current crop can take inspiration from that win, adding: "They are a good team.
“They used to be a Championship team. We went there a few years ago live on TV and beat them.
“We have just got to be positive and, fingers crossed, we can get that first win.”
Much has changed in the two years since that televised meeting, though.
They met twice last season at Yeovil as Dover suffered FA Cup heartbreak, losing on penalties following a 3-3 draw in the FA Cup and the Glovers winning 3-1 in their league encounter.
Southall says Whites are hopeful of bringing in a frontman in time for the match while defender Danny Collinge, who missed the match against Wealdstone through illness, may also return.
Striker Ricky Miller (calf), player-coach Reda Johnson (thigh) and Seth Twumasi (knee) have also been on the treatment table of late but playmaker Koby Arthur did come on against Wealdstone as he recovered from a calf problem.
Southall admitted the return to fitness of the Ghanaian was a big boost, saying: “We know what Koby has got. He has got quality.
“He has that bit of class about him. He seems to pick the right pass at the right moments, and he has a goal in him.
“He has had a bit of a calf problem he picked up in training. Whether that’s because we are training on the 3G pitch, which is not ideal, (I’m not sure) but he felt it.
“We didn’t risk him on Saturday but we brought him into the squad on Tuesday, he passed a fitness test that afternoon.
“We were glad to get him on the pitch because we need him on the pitch.”
Dover will also need to decide whether to stick with Josh Bexon, who came back into the side for the Wealdstone game, or recall on-loan Watford goalkeeper Adam Parkes.
