Dover boss Chris Kinnear is not getting carried away after two consecutive wins and two clean sheets in the Vanarama Conference.

There is a long season ahead and Saturday’s trip to Bristol Rovers is going to be another stern test.

Rovers are sixth after extending their unbeaten run to six games with a 1-1 draw at Eastleigh on Tuesday night.

And Rovers, who were relegated from the Football League for the first time in 94 years last season, earned a share of the points with nine men after goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall (professional foul) and scorer Ollie Clarke (second yellow) were sent off. Both will miss the clash with Whites.

Kinnear said: “They (Rovers) are a massive club and have a squad that goes with it. It’s going to be tough playing against whoever they put out.”
