Dover have announced their second signing of the day.

Reece Grant, 27, arrives having helped Maidstone win the National League South title last season.

His arrival on Monday night came just hours after Whites had confirmed they had retained the services of former Colchester midfielder Arjanit Krasniqi for the new campaign.

“Absolutely buzzing to get this over the line and be joining @DoverAthletic,” he said on Twitter.

“Can’t wait to get started and have a great season.

“Shout out (to) @Specialist4S and @JKingS4S for getting it done swiftly.”

Greenwich-born Grant counts Ebbsfleet, Dagenham & Redbridge, Aldershot and Braintree among his former clubs.

He is also Dover’s third summer recruit inside three days after the club announced at the weekend they had signed winger Luke Wanadio, just a day after coach Nicky Southall’s departure from Crabble was confirmed.

Grant joins Jake Goodman, Jordan Higgs, Alfie Paxman, Alfie Pavey, Stuart Nelson, Tyrone Sterling, Wanadio and Krasniqi - alongside the club's promising crop of young players - in agreeing to be part of Dover’s squad for their 2022/23 National League South campaign.

The deals for both Grant and Krasniqi to sign for the Whites are subject to FA approval.
