Dover boss has signed midfielder Joe Bedford from League 1 Southend United.

Bedford spent time earlier this season on loan at National League South East Thurrock.

Having been at Southend since the age of eight, Bedford signed a pro deal with the Shrimpers in the summer of 2017 but never made a first-team appearance.

He featured on loan last season for Isthmian League Brightlingsea Regent.

Bedford gives Whites boss Andy Hessenthaler another midfield option and goes into the squad for Saturday's FA Trophy clash against Havant.
