DOVER Athletic manager Richard Langley knows he must now focus on Whites’ other challenges after the disappointment of going out of the FA Trophy.
Following the battling 3-2 defeat at Conference title-chasers Barnet, promotion to Conference 2 (South) remains the top priority for Dover.
And they are still involved in two cup competitions, starting with a Dr Martens League Cup third round clash against neighbours Folkestone Invicta at the Hoverspeed Stadium next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Dover are without a game this Saturday but they can keep their championship hopes very much alive by beating league leaders Weymouth at the Hoverspeed Stadium on Saturday week, January 24.
They will certainly have a much better idea of where they stand by the end of the month as other sides catch up with fixtures.
Whites have a virtual mid-season break in which to recharge their batteries, with just one scheduled league fixture before Februray 7.
The trip to Hednesford on January 31 has been postponed because of the Pitmen’s continuing involvement in the FA Trophy, and Whites have been unable to rearrange an alternative league fixture for that date.
