Dover have continued their summer rebuild, bringing a defender back to Crabble - and he wants to ensure the good times roll again.

Grenada international Tyrone Sterling, 34, joins Jake Goodman, Jordan Higgs, Alfie Paxman, Alfie Pavey and Stuart Nelson in putting pen to paper ahead of Dover's new National League South season.

Like midfielder Higgs, left-back Sterling joins from Dulwich Hamlet after making 31 appearances for the National League South side last campaign, scoring twice.

On Twitter, he said: "Happy days, let's go again.

"Some of my best memories at this great club - let’s make some more."

He made 114 appearances in all competitions for Whites before he left for Bromley in May 2017, having initially signed for Dover in the summer of 2014 after the club had been promoted to the top flight of non-league football.

Sterling has 16 international caps to his name, including two as captain, and played against the USA and El Salvador in CONCACAF Nations League A this month when they drew 2-2 with El Salvador but lost 5-0 to USA.

He is capable of playing at centre-back as well as left-back.
