Chris Kinnear says Dover will look to be positive in their four remaining Vanarama National League games because he doesn't want to leave anything to chance.
Good Friday's 3-0 home win over Southport - courtesy of goals from Ricky Modeste (2) and Ricky Miller - lifted Whites back up to fifth, at the expense of play-off rivals Aldershot who they meet at the EBB Stadium on Easter Monday (3pm).
Whites lead the Shots by two points and crucially have a game in hand but boss Kinnear says that won't change the way he and his players approach the game.

Kinnear said: "We are honestly taking it game by game and we're really pleased that the lads are taking that on board.
"We're not letting many goals in and we're always going to score, we always try to play attacking football which is why we're the second highest scorers in the league.
"Aldershot are a very good side there's no doubt about that. There'll be 5,000 people watching I should think at least but hopefully our players will relish that.
"Why would you try and get a draw? (at Aldershot). We try to win every game, you don't always but you've got to try. If it doesn't work out and you end up with a draw you have to accept that."
He added: "I'd like to think (getting back into the top five) it gives them (the players) confidence. We don't try to put any pressure on them, it's no different now from the first game of the season.
"Pressure is what you put on yourself but we're not doing that, we're just trying to push and win every game until the end of the season and if we do that we'll be a very happy team."
Dover's win over Southport was comfortable enough in the end but Kinnear admitted the result was in the balance all the time it remained 1-0.
He also paid tribute to winger and man-of-the-match Modeste whose double took his league tally for the season to five - three of which have come in the last five matches.
He said: "They (Southport) had to bit to play for I suppose and everyone's playing against us who have been successful for a number of years now.
"They were lively, they're not the worst side by a long way, they've only just lost by the odd goal to some of the sides.
"You always worry, the other side will they nick it (at 1-0) and when the second goal went in you could see the relief all the way round for everyone here.
"You don't expect it to be easy but in saying that the lads came up trumps as they tend to and look at the way it went for the other sides (play-off rivals Barrow lost 4-1 at Bromley while Gateshead were beaten 3-0 at Sutton) who are bigger payers than us by a long way."
Of Modeste's contribution he added: "I'm pleased for Ricky really. He's been with us since the first day I've been here and he's done really well for the team.
"He's looking fitter and fitter since he's had his baby and he looks like he's got a lot more to play for.
"Perhaps he's playing for a contract so that he can pay for the nappies and stuff!"
Defender Richard Orlu limped out of the Southport game after suffering a dead leg but he is expected to be fit for Monday.
