Dover Athletic have unveiled a commemorative supporters shirt which will feature the names of all who buy it.
Whites say the limited edition shirt - priced £50 - will provide “a unique keepsake for those wearing it with pride on the terraces, as well as providing much-needed funds for the club in our hour of need with a £40k fine to pay”.
It’s the latest initiative from Dover, who have been coming up with ways to pay the £40,000 fine imposed by the National League for failure to fulfil fixtures during the Covid pandemic.
There will also be a fundraising match at Crabble on August 8 which has seen fans bidding to feature against Andy Hessenthaler's collection of Whites legends.
Ex-Dover players signed up to appear include Nathan Elder, James Rogers, Sammy Moore and Craig Cloke.
The supporters' club continue to raise funds while a Just Giving page, set up by fan James Pearce, has generated more than £8,300.
Sponsor relations manager Richard Harvey said: “Everybody knows the situation we are in financially with the fine we have to pay.
“We need all the help we can get and the support our fans have given us during these tough times has been simply phenomenal - we could not have asked for anything more.
“So, we hope the shirt will prove to be a fitting tribute to those who purchase it while supporting the club at the same time.
“The money raised from each shirt will go a long way in helping our cause and will be a lasting link between fans the club.”
Orders for the shirt should be placed via the club shop link here. The deadline is 5pm on July 17.
