Dover v AFC Wimbledon

Dover expect a crowd of around 2,500 for their FA Cup third qualifying round tie against AFC Wimbledon at Crabble on Saturday.

The game pairs two of the South East’s in-form teams against each other with the Dons fourth in Blue Square South after being promoted via the play-offs last season.

Former midfielder Jake Leberl is likely to face his old club, while former Tonbridge Angels top scorer Jon Main and ex-Welling striker Danny Kedwell will also be involved.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler said: “AFC Wimbledon have got off to a good start in the league above us, which is where we aspire to be and it will be a good test for us.

"We have watched them and I know they have got several good individuals including Kedwell and Main, who are a strong partnership up front.”

Injuries are likely to play a part in Hessenthaler’s plans. Ollie Schulz has an ankle problem, while Jon Wallis (hamstring) is rated only 50-50. Frannie Collin limped off at Carshalton with an ankle injury, while Giuliano Grazioli missed the game after injuring his back.
