Ryan Bird has turned down a contract offer to stay with Dover Athletic and has signed for Maidenhead United.
Bird was Dover's leading scorer in the National League last season scoring 16 times in 46 appearances.
Whites announced on Twitter that the striker would not be taking up a contract offer that was made to him.
The statement said: "Striker Ryan Bird has confirmed this week that he will not be taking up the contract offered to him by the club.
"The club wish to thank him for his efforts while at the club and wish him well for the future."
Bird joined Dover from Newport County at the beginning of the 2017/18 season and appeared in every league match.
The 30-year-old former Portsmouth, Cambridge United and Yeovil Town man became the fourth summer signing for National League side Maidenhead.
Bird scored 20 goals in all competitions for Whites as they missed out on a place in the play-offs by goal difference.
It is the second season in a row that Dover have lost their top-scoring striker.
At the end of the 2016/17 season, Ricky Miller joined Peterborough United after scoring 42 league goals in 43 games.
Centre-back George Essuman has also left Dover to join National League South side Torquay United.
The 21-year-old spent much of last season on loan at Bostik Premier Division side Margate.
Torquay were relegated from the National League at the end of the 2017/18 season.
