WITH two morale-boosting cup wins behind them, Dover Athletic arevturning their attention back to the business of qualifying for the new Conference Two next season.
Manager Richard Langley sees Saturday's trip to Dorchester as the start of a block of matches which will go a long way towards settling Whites' fate.
He said: "It's real, real crunch time. We've now got five important league games, all against sides just below or above us, and we need to take a lot of points from them.
"I'm looking forward to Saturday's game as Dorchester play a lot of football and aren't one of these big, strong, physical northern sides."
Meanwhile, Langley is hoping to extend the loan stays of both Jimmy Jackson and Gillingham youngster Andy Crofts, who has made a good impression at the Hoverspeed Stadium.
Long-term injury victim Nicky Humphrey could be back in first team contention later this month. Craig Cloke is available again and deputy goalkeeper Dave Wietecha is expected to play for the reserves soon.
Assistant manager and glandular fever victim Mark Patterson could make his return at Dorchester or against Chatham in the Dr Martens League Cup third round tie next Tuesday.
The game sees an early return to Dover for former Whites' manager Clive Walker, who can be assured of a good reception.
Walker, now in charge of the Chats, will be up against a near full-strength Dover side for the game which kicks off at the Hoverspeed Stadium at 7.45pm.
