Swimmer Dan Seagrove-Castle won four medals at the Black Lion Open meeting in Gillingham.
The River youngster, who competes in the 13.14yrs age group for City of Canterbury SC, opened his successful weekend by finishing third in Saturday’s 200m butterfly in a personal best of 2mins 26.16secs.
His next event was the 200m freestyle where Dan was hoping to beat the national age group championship qualifying time of of 2:03.08. And he did so in style, powering to the gold medal in 2:01.23 to qualify for the Nationals at Sheffield in July
Dan then collected his third medal on Saturday by winning the 400m freestyle in a four-second personal best of 4:22.16.
On Sunday, he competed in the 100m freestyle, finishing 2nd with a pb of 56.95secs. His final event of the meeting was the 200m Individual Medley, where he finished in 5th place with a pb of 2.27.21.
