Dover have re-signed star midfielder Nicky Deverdics on a month's loan from League 2 Hartlepool United.
The 29-year-old was one of the players of the season in Vanarama National League last season, scoring 14 goals from midfield as Dover recorded their highest ever finish and notching a league-high 18 assists.
His form earned him a switch to his native north east with Hartlepool, however he has been limited to 24 appearances this season, and two goals, both in November.
He has not however featured since the game against Morecambe on December 30 and a Pools statement said new boss Dave Jones 'is keen for him to go out on loan and get some minutes under his belt.'
He joins James Caton, Connor Essam and James Hurst in Chris Kinnear's bolstered Crabble ranks and is in line to make his playing return against Wrexham on Saturday (3pm).
Dover are fifth, six points behind second-placed Dagenham & Redbridge with leaders Lincoln a further three points ahead.
Deverdics began his career as a trainee with hometown club Newcastle before spells with north east sides Gateshead and Bedlington Terriers.
He was part of Gretna's charge from Division 3 to the top flight in Scotland, making 26 SPL appearances, before a switch to Barnet where he spent two years, playing 51 times.
He enjoyed short stints at Icelandic club BI/Bolungravik and with TB Tvoroyri of the Faroe Islands before arriving on trial at Dover in 2014.
His contract at Crabble was up after their play-off semi-final defeat to Forest Green Rovers last May and he agreed a move to Hartlepool in early June.
