Dover had to settle for share of the points at Barnet after the Vanarama Conference leaders staged a stunning comeback to come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at The Hive.
Whites stunned the home crowd by leading 2-0 inside the opening 18 minutes after goals from Tom Murphy and Stefan Payne.
That’s the way it stayed until half-time but whatever Barnet boss Martin Allen said at the break worked.
Curtis Weston reduced the deficit 20 seconds after the restart when he slotted home Charlie MacDonald's cross from close range.
They were back on level terms after John Akinde tapped in the 75th minute. It was his 21st league goal of the season.
Barnet continued to press for a winner and Akinde went to close to doing that after he fired just wide.
Dover had a couple of efforts too, with Nicky Deverdics seeing his shot well saved by Stack. Richard Orlu then headed a Deverdics corner over.
The draw means boss Chris Kinnear’s side is now unbeaten in 12 games in all competitions. The point keeps Dover 13th ahead of the trip to Welling on New Year’s Day.
Earlier, Murphy fired past Barnet's Graham Stack after the former Arsenal keeper had saved from Payne in the eighth minute.
Murphy had chance to make it 2-0 two minutes later but headed straight at keeper Stack. But Payne did double the lead in the 17th minute after his thunderbolt crashed into the top corner of Stack’s goal.
