Whites skipper Nicky Deverdics says the Dover squad have spent weeks working out the Vanarama National League play-off permutations to give them the best chance of getting to Wembley.
However, the 28-year-old insists they have to focus on getting three points at already-relegated Kidderminster on Saturday (3pm) before they turn their attention to the promotion shake-up.
Whites were held by potential semi-final opponents Grimsby on Saturday and although fourth-placed Town won at Woking in midweek to swap places with third-placed Dover, the two teams look likely to retain those spots through the final two games.
Dover need to overturn a one-point deficit to ensure third which comes with home advantage in the second leg of the semi-final.
Deverdics said: “We are not there yet, though of course we are eager to put it to bed. We were in a great position a couple of weeks back but we couldn’t quite pick up the results to get us over the line.
“Kidderminster might want to put on a show for their fans, it being their last home game, but we are playing for something, whereas they are not.”
The midfielder claimed Dover have nothing to fear from any play-off opponent, adding: “We are not scared of anyone.
"We have talked about the possibility of playing Grimsby. A few weeks back it looked even more likely but Braintree, Eastleigh and Tranmere have been hot on their heels.”
He, however, insisted: “We can’t try to be too clever and worry about whether it’s better to finish third or fourth and whether we want to play a home leg first or last."
