Dover Rugby Club under-17s took on their counterparts from Deal & Betteshanger in a special friendly game to mark the inauguration of the new floodlights on the main pitch at the Crabble ground.
In front of a good crowd, Dover took the lead through a penalty but the Lions hit back through a try by Adi Moss, converted by Ollie Best.
And, as the game wore on, the Lions' back division showed their superiority and they were rewarded with an unconverted try by Jake Cowans.
Two penalties then increased the Lions' final winning margin to 18-3.
