Dover will aim to extend their unbeaten run to seven games against lowly Cheshunt tonight.
Whites welcome Craig Edwards’ troops to Crabble for their third National League South home fixture within a week, having beaten Havant 1-0 last Tuesday through wideman Luke Wanadio’s second-half strike before their weekend goalless draw with Bath City.
“Every team we seem to play, they are either fighting for promotion or fighting to get into the play-offs, or fighting for their lives down the bottom,” said manager Mitch Brundle, whose team have kept four successive clean sheets.
“Thankfully, we have crawled away from it [the relegation zone] a little bit. But you’re only two or three games from getting drawn back into it so, like I said to the players, you don’t get carried away.
“We can only build from the positives.”
Cheshunt beat Whites 2-0 when the two sides met earlier this season through midfielder Zach Newton’s brace.
On-loan Crystal Palace defender David Boateng (groin), young midfielder Freddie Oliver (ankle) and promising striker George Nikaj (calf) are injury doubts for Dover.
Cheshunt, who drew 1-1 on Saturday at Havant, are just outside the relegation zone while Dover are 14th.
