A former Wrexham, Maidstone and Ebbsfleet winger has signed for Dover.
Iffy Allen, 29, joins manager Mitch Brundle’s squad to add more pace and attacking guile to the National League South team.
After a spell at Wrexham in 2017, Allen, who started as a junior at Fulham before turning professional with Barnet, joined Maidstone in 2019 and netted six times in the 2019/20 campaign.
He then went to Ebbsfleet in August 2020 but lasted only a year before signing for Lewes a year later.
The news comes after Whites - who won 2-1 at home against Isthmian Premier neighbours Folkestone on Saturday, with Academy player Henry Young scoring his first senior goal - also have agreed terms with ex-Oxford United teenage midfielder Joshua Anifowose and defender Michael Olarewaju.
Academy graduates Matty Holness, Young and Archie Hatcher have been promoted to Dover’s first-team squad ahead of the new season too.
They were added to Brundle’s ranks after Ricky Holmes left his role as Dover player-assistant to rejoin Farnborough, becoming the third player this summer to U-turn on their decision to sign for them, with Lee Flavin swiftly appointed his new No.2.
Whites welcome League 2 Crawley to Crabble tonight (7.45pm kick-off) for their latest pre-season friendly.
