DOVER ATHLETIC defender Danny Chapman will miss the first six matches of the season after receiving a further three-match ban following his sending off against Worcester in the final match of last season.

Chapman has been handed a three-match ban and a £200 fine, on top of his initial three-match ban, for making comments to the referee after he was sent off.

Meanwhile, former Dover manager Neville Southall has taken up the post of director of football for Ryman Division 1 South side Molesey.

It's also been announced that Margate have agreed terms with Dover for a six-match groundshare of the Hoverspeed Stadium between August 12 and September 27.
