Andy Hessenthaler tipped Will Moses for a bright future after handing the Dover academy player his first professional contract.
Hessenthaler gave the 18-year-old his Whites debut at Stockport last October - one of two first-team appearances for the defender - and likes the look of the defender.
“I’m a firm believer in giving young players a chance and Will has impressed on and off the field since I first him,” the Whites boss told his club website.
“Will is an exciting prospect and has lots of good attributes - he’s big, strong and mobile.
“I am looking forward to working with him and seeing how he progresses, as I think he has a bright future in the game.”
Hessenthaler is keen to make the most of the club’s academy, praising the work of manager Mike Sandmann.
He said: “All credit to Mike and his staff - they do a fantastic job producing players like Will.
“The work they are doing at the academy is first class and we need to ensure we can continue to work with them and show the youngsters who are part of it that there is a pathway to senior football with us.”
