Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler has been given a timely boost ahead of the festive period.
Whites feared that defender Josh Passley could be ruled out for a number of weeks after coming off injured in the FA Trophy at Woking on Saturday.
But Passley got the all-clear after an X-ray at the weekend and trained with Dover on Monday.
“I thought initially it was a shoulder injury but someone actually trod on his wrist,” said Hessenthaler.
“He went for an X-ray as we feared a break but it’s only heavy bruising.
“He was able to train on Monday and that’s a bonus as we were worried that he wasn’t going to be available and we’ve got a few more days to get him ready before we play now.
“He is one of our most consistent players, regardless of whether we play with a back four or with wing-backs. Obviously as a wing-back he is integral to that as he has great energy and pace in his game so it suits that.”
The 26-year-old, who is Dover’s longest-serving player having been at Crabble since the summer of 2017, has featured eight times this season for Hessenthaler’s side.
Dover's game with Chesterfield on Tuesday night has been postponed due to a Covid outbreak in the Spireites squad. Whites are next in action at home to Dagenham in a televised clash on Boxing Day.
