Dover boss Chris Kinnear has no intention of hitting the panic button ahead of Saturday’s Vanarama Conference clash with Southport at Crabble.
Whites have lost their past two league games, away at both Lincoln and FC Halifax, but while he was disappointed with those results, Kinnear remains upbeat.
He said: “They (Lincoln and FC Halifax) are both massive clubs. You could lose to them if you were top of the table.
“It’s not the end of the world by any means because we’ve now lost two in a row and besides, we should have definitely got something out of both games.
“But it’s not panic stations at all. It’s just disappointing because we had been unbeaten for 13 league games until we lost 1-0 at Lincoln.
“We had been used to winning and we all as a club enjoyed that feeling.
“Now we’ve got to start getting some points on the board again and get that winning feeling back.
“And to do that, we cannot afford to let ourselves get too down after these two losses.
“We’ve got to push on and get on with it because we are only nine points out of the play-offs.”
