Dover boss Chris Kinnear has seen his side slide down the Vanarama Conference table to 14th after a poor run of form.
Now he’s keen to see Whites rediscover their mojo and get their season, which promised so much until a month ago, back on track – starting at Kidderminster on Saturday.
Whites’ campaign has come unstuck of late. They have lost four of their last five league games and have not won since beating Wrexham 2-0 at Crabble on January 20.
Despite suffering back-to-back losses, Kinnear is confident his players can revive their season.
He said: “Saturday’s loss to Lincoln was frustrating for us all. It was similar to the previous week, the 2-2 draw against Southport.
“They were both games we should have won but we lacked that killer instinct – we should have buried both of them.
“But we didn’t and that came back to hurt us. We’ve got to get back to backing ourselves to finish teams off like we had been doing this season and I am sure we will.”
But Kinnear also knows his side must tighten up defensively.
He said: “We have conceded some poor goals of late and all know that’s not good enough.
“Believe me, the lads are under no illusion that they all have to raise their game.”
