Dover Athletic boss Jake Leberl looks ahead to Kent Senior Cup semi-final game at Welling United

Dover boss Jake Leberl and his side will look to make the Kent Senior Cup final tonight.

Whites take on National League South strugglers Welling in their final-four fixture at Park View Road as they aim to put their poor Isthmian Premier form behind them for the time being.

It will be a repeat of the 2016/17 final - which was the last time Dover won the competition, under Chris Kinnear and Leberl - with the victors facing Ebbsfleet or Tonbridge in this season’s final at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium on Wednesday, March 12.

Speaking after last weekend’s 2-0 league loss against Whitehawk, Leberl said: “We’re not sure which way we’re going to go yet so we’ll have a look at that.

“We made a couple of changes on Saturday so, first and foremost, we’ll make sure that everyone is all right.

“Then, we’ll come up with a plan for going to Welling, which will be a difficult game.

“Obviously, they’re in the league above and they have got a lot of players.

“But we’ll just go there, and try and get a result.”

Dover have seen off Deal (2-0) and Cray Valley (3-1) at home to reach this stage of the competition while Rod Stringer’s Wings have got past Phoenix Sports (4-3) and Maidstone (2-1) to make the semi-final stage.
