Andy Hessenthaler has made his first signings since returning to Crabble as Dover manager.
The Whites boss has signed former Maidstone skipper Stuart Lewis and Cheltenham left-back Joshua Debayo who arrives on loan from the League 2 club.
Both will be in contention to start in Dover's National League game at Harrogate on Saturday.
Midfielder Lewis announced he was leaving Stones on Wednesday citing “professional and personal reasons.” He joins Dover on a two-year deal.
The 30-year-old was a popular figure at the Gallagher Stadium clocking up 74 appearances after initially joining on loan from Ebbsfleet United in January 2017.
He was named Maidstone's Supporters’ Player-of-the-Year award at the end of that season before making the move permanent.
Lewis also made 83 appearances for Ebbsfleet having arrived at that club from Wycombe Wanderers .
He has also played for Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnet, Stevenage and Gillingham.
Left-back Debayo is 21 and moved to Cheltenham on a two-year contract after leaving Leicester City at the end of last season.
He had started his career with Fulham and Chelsea before moving to Southampton in 2013.
The Nigerian spent two seasons playing for Leicester's under-23s before joining Cheltenham for whom he has five league appearances this season in addition to two in the EFL Cup.
