Jake Leberl believes Dover are in charge of their own destiny as they look to secure a play-off place in the National League.
Whites occupy seventh place – the last play-off spot – with nine games of the season left to play.
They have a tough spell of games coming up starting with Macclesfield at home on Saturday.
Assistant manager Leberl said: “It is in our own hands. It is a big month for us and after the two games at Easter (home to Tranmere and away to Ebbsfleet), everything could nearly be decided.
“In March or April, we always tend to do well. Every year things come together and the players know what is expected of them.
“We have been consistent this season. We had that little spell over Christmas where we drew a few games but we have bounced back well.”
Whites have won three of their last four matches in the league and kept clean sheets in all of those victories.
They didn’t get the chance to extend that run last weekend as their match at Eastleigh was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Leberl said: “It was disappointing when you are on a good run and confidence is high. We were a little bit concerned about some people whose legs were a bit heavy though and Eastleigh hadn’t played for two weeks. The long midweek trips take a lot out of you.”
Forward Kane Richards was this week allowed to join AFC Telford United on loan until the end of the season and on Thursday Whites brought in 25-year-old winger Keanu Marsh-Brown from Forest Green Rovers on a similar deal.
